About Me

I’m Leanne, a neurodivergent mum of three amazing kids, all with EHCPs, and the voice behind Send Compass.

After seeing the challenges my children faced at school, I trained in educational law with IPSEA, which helped me to secure the specialist education my children needed.

For the past few years, I’ve been supporting other families through the SEND maze, from writing applications and checking EHCPs, to handling complaints, appeals, tribunals, and DLA/PIP applications.

I absolutely love what I do, and I’m proud of every family I’ve supported. I use what I’ve learnt to help parents feel confident, empowered, and supported, because when families have the right tools, children can truly thrive.
