Due to current capacity and personal commitments, I’ve made the decision to pause taking on extended new client work at this time. This is to ensure I can continue to give families the time and attention their cases deserve.
This message will be updated when my availability changes. If capacity allows, I may still be able to offer shorter pieces of work, subject to availability.
If your enquiry relates to a short piece of work, you can email me at support@send-compass.co.uk, and I will let you know if I am able to help.
In the meantime, I regularly share general tips and information on my Facebook page. You may also find organisations such as IPSEA, SOS!SEN, or SEND Empowerment (Facebook) helpful for guidance and support.
Take care,
Leigh

Support included within each service relates to the drafting process only. Additional advice, document reviews or ongoing support may be charged at the hourly rate.
I do not take on cases where another advocate has already started work.
My fees are £30 per hour, reflecting the time, expertise and care I put into supporting your family.
The total cost may vary depending on the service, your child’s needs, and the amount of evidence involved. I aim to be transparent and fair, and I am always happy to provide a clear breakdown or personalised estimate so you know exactly what to expect.
Support may include:
• Next-step advice and SEND guidance
• Writing emails to schools
• Writing emails to Local Authorities
• Form completion (including CRH, SEND7 and SEND35A)
• Attendance support
• Reading and checking reports or evidence
• Helping you understand Local Authority decisions
• Talking things through when the situation feels overwhelming
Support is usually provided in writing, as this ensures advice is clear and parents have something to refer back to.
Advice calls are not routinely offered, but may occasionally be arranged where needed. Calls are £60 per hour and include a written summary of suggested next steps.
For SaLT, OT, EP or private reports.
