Important
All fees are based on the standard level of work required for each service. Some rare cases necessitate additional time due to the volume of paperwork, the complexity of evidence, urgent deadlines, multiple consultations, etc. Where this applies, I will always discuss this with you first and agree on any extra costs in advance. There will be no unexpected charges.
Support included within each service relates specifically to the drafting process. Additional advice, document reviews, or ongoing support may be charged at the hourly rate.
I do not take on cases where another advocate has already started work.
General additional support is charged at £40 per hour. This reflects the time, expertise, and care involved in assisting you with the EHC needs assessment application and understanding related documents, decisions, and next steps. Support may include written advice, reviewing evidence, drafting emails to schools or Local Authorities, and helping you respond effectively to these entities. Additionally, we provide support to make sense of what is happening during the EHCNA application drafting process and assist you with SENDIST Appeals.
Additional support may include:
• Writing emails to schools
• Writing emails to Local Authorities
• Attendance support
• Reading and checking reports or evidence
• Helping you understand Local Authority decisions
• Parental statements
• Working documents
• Evidence reviews
Support is usually provided in writing, wherever possible. This means advice is clear, considered, and something you can refer back to when advocating for your child.
General additional support is £40 per hour.
For SaLT, OT, EP, or private reports related to the EHC needs assessment application.
Sometimes professional reports can feel difficult to understand, or you may feel unsure whether everything about your child has been properly captured for the EHCNA application drafting process.
This service helps you look over the report carefully, so you can feel more confident about what it says, especially if you are preparing for SENDIST appeals.
Includes:
• Careful reading of one professional report
• Identifying any unclear or weaker wording
• Highlighting areas that may need strengthening
• Clear written feedback you can use if you wish to respond to the professional to make changes.
