Fees for Additional SEND Support – £45 per hour
I know from personal experience how overwhelming and exhausting navigating the SEND system can feel. Sometimes you just need someone who understands the process, can help you make sense of what's happening and guide you through the next steps.
How I Can Help
Telephone and email support
Talking through your concerns, answering questions and helping you understand your options.
Emails to schools
Helping you put your concerns into words and communicate clearly and confidently.
Emails to local authorities
Drafting responses, challenging decisions and helping you ask the right questions.
Reviewing reports and evidence
Helping you understand professional reports, identify important information and consider what may be missing.
Understanding local authority decisions
Explaining what a decision means, you understand the process, what should happen next and how to respond when things don't go as expected.
Support That Works for You
Having been through the SEND system myself, I understand how much time, energy and emotion can go into trying to secure the right support for your child. Sometimes it's not about needing someone to take over. It's about having someone in your corner who understands the challenges, can explain things clearly and help you feel more confident about what to do next.
Wherever possible, I provide advice and guidance in writing. This gives you something clear and considered that you can return to, refer back to and use when advocating for your child. Telephone support is also available when you need to talk things through.
Please note: I provide remote advocacy, advice and written support. I do not attend school meetings, local authority meetings, mediation sessions or Tribunal hearings. Additional support is charged at £45 per hour, and we can agree the work needed before I begin so you know what to expect.
