Professional Report Review & Feedback
£90 — Up to two hours of personalised support
Professional reports, including Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Educational Psychology (EP) and independent assessments, can play an important role in EHC needs assessment applications and SEND Tribunal appeals. Sometimes these reports can be difficult to understand, or you may feel unsure whether they fully reflect your child's needs and the support they require.
What's included
Detailed review of one professional report
Carefully reading the report to consider how clearly it identifies your child's special educational needs and the provision they may require.
Identifying unclear or weaker wording
Highlighting vague descriptions, missing details or recommendations that may benefit from greater specificity.
Areas for clarification or strengthening
Identifying important information that may not have been fully captured or explained.
Written feedback
A clear written summary of findings and suggested areas to raise with the report author.
This service is particularly important when a local authority is considering whether to issue an EHCP following an EHC needs assessment. It can also be valuable when preparing for SEND Tribunal (SENDIST) appeals, where clear evidence of a child's needs and the special educational provision required is especially important.
Important information
While I can identify areas that may benefit from clarification or stronger wording, any amendments to a professional report must be agreed and made by the professional responsible for it. I cannot guarantee that a professional will make the requested changes or that the local authority will reach a particular decision.
This service includes up to two hours of review, feedback and communication relating to one professional report. It does not include rewriting professional assessments or providing clinical opinions.
